Dear, Lash+ Love, should I use lash maps on my clients ?
Work smarter not harder. That sentence basically sums up lash mapping for me. Why get totally lost when you can whip out a map and get to your destination so much quicker? Not using a Lash map is like choosing to not use Waze in 2019 and instead trying to maneuver your way around LA...in traffic...blind. I totally get that lashing is an "art" and I respect all the Artists who choose to do things the old school way but when I see lash maps, I see efficiency and better time management. I really would love to see more new Artists starting with mapping so they can focus more on their skillset instead of what length to put where. The design doesn't matter if the lashes aren't even on properly to begin with. Work on proper application FIRST then get to the design aspect of the service. If you're reading this and you are just starting out...PLEASE don't stress yourself out by creating your own lash styles (unless this is something that comes easy and naturally). You can either purchase lash map stickers or make your own right on the eye pad. Borboleta Beauty has great examples of how to do this!
